About UsElvis and Shirley Rollet started Rollet Brothers Trucking (RBT) in 1956 with a Bob truck used to haul wood to St. Louis. They eventually purchased a spreader truck used to spread lime on farmers fields. In 1963, RBT purchased their first tractor trailer to haul soybean meal, grain, and fertilizer for MFA. By 1968, RBT had grown to six trucks, eight trailers, and four spreaders. Their oldest son, David, joined the company as a dispatcher in 1989. In 1993, their youngest son, Michael, joined the company and is in control of the maintenance on the equipment. With the younger generation in the business, Elvis and Shirley have semi-retired. RBT has grown to forty-one tractors, sixty-nine trailers, and one spreader truck used to spread lime on farmers fields. The company began with less than ten employees, but now employs fifty-seven (four clerical, four dispatchers, forty-two drivers, and seven mechanics). As far as the tractors go, we are a bulk commodity carrier. We have a satisfactory DOT safety rating. ![]() |
